At this point in time, you need to provide the venue (home, church, school, civic organization, etc.), and we will travel to you. On Sunday, December 14 Dick's radio interview about his book "Please Listen to Me!" aired on Spirit 105.3 FM (Seattle, WA) during "The Morning Show with Scott and Sam" from 9 - 11 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) and again from 12 - 2 p.m. (EST).

Family Life Radio Interview

On Thursday, November 20, Dick was interviewed by Amy Philips of KFLR-FM Family Life Radio. This Christian radio network is based in Tucson, AZ, but has affiliate stations scattered over four states in the West and MidWest, the most eastern station being in Detroit, MI.

Dick Shares at "Ironman Conference

On October 25 Dick shared with 30+ men about the importance of reflective listening at "Ironman Conference '08," a men's conference hosted by Crossroads Community Church in Jersey Shore, Pa. He also gave each participant the opportunity to discover his dominant learning style and discussed how our minds take in and organize information differently. Pray for the men to have a desire to become reflective listeners as it relates to their roles as husbands and fathers. Ask the Holy Spirit to help them realize the impact that listening can have on all aspects of their lives. We are so thankful to have this opportunity for Dick to share the passion of his heart!

Dick and Joanne Share with the Junior League of Williamsport

On October 18, both Dick and Joanne had the opportunity to speak to women of the Junior League of Williamsport, Pa. Joanne shared "An Introduction to Reflective Listening" in the morning session, and Dick gave an overview of the Learning Styles in the afternoon session. The topics were well-received. Pray for lives to be changed as individuals come to a greater understanding of the beautiful and unique person God has created each one to be!

Barnes & Noble Book-Signing Event a Success!

The book-signing Dick was invited to participate in at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in State College on October 11 went very well. Dick signed and sold all but one of the 14 books the manager at B & N had ordered for the event! A lot of hugs were exchanged in our corner of the room as many long-time but seldom seen friends came to say "hi." (Thanks to those of you who went out of your way to stop by!) It was a long and tiring but very good day. Pray for everyone who reads Dick's book to desire a (deeper) relationship with Jesus.
